Uniteam Marine is currently seeking a qualified Electro-Technical Officer (ETO) for our client’s Contract MSC MUNDRA VIII project, based worldwide. This role requires a highly skilled professional responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all electrical and electronic equipment onboard, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the vessel's systems. The successful candidate will be experienced in working on Post-Panamax vessels, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of maritime electrical systems, automation, and control systems integral to large container ships. You will be expected to work closely with the technical team to maintain optimal performance, ensure safety standards are met, and comply with industry regulations. This role demands a proactive approach, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to adapt to different operational environments.
- Valid Electro-Technical Officer certification and relevant maritime experience
- Previous experience working on Post-Panamax vessels
- Experience with electrical, electronic, automation, and control systems onboard ships
- Strong troubleshooting and maintenance skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work on a worldwide basis
