Uniteam Marine is seeking a highly qualified 2nd Engineer for the contract position onboard the MSC JUBILEE IX - 2/E. This role offers the opportunity to work on a large, modern vessel with a TEU capacity of 9000, powered by a MAN B&W 10K98ME-C NT engine. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the engine's optimal performance, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards, and supporting the engine department in daily operations. This is a worldwide position, providing the chance to gain international maritime experience aboard a high-capacity container vessel.
- Previous experience as a 2nd Engineer on container ships, preferably with PostPanamax vessels.
- Hands-on experience with MAN B&W 10K98ME-C NT engines or similar large marine diesel engines.
- Valid and up-to-date certifications for engine room operations and safety.
- Strong knowledge of vessel maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment and adapt to diverse operational conditions.
- Flexible to operate worldwide, willing to travel extensively as required.
