Uniteam Marine is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Chief Officer (Single Mate) for a Coaster vessel to join our reputable client on a worldwide basis. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation and navigation of the vessel, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and company policies. Your primary focus will be to support the vessel's operations as a Solo Officer or Single Mate, managing crew and safety procedures independently during transit and cargo operations. The position requires a proactive individual who can handle the responsibilities of a Chief Officer on a coaster, particularly in dry cargo environments, with the ability to adapt to various international waters and port procedures.
- Previous experience as a Chief Officer or Solo Officer on coaster vessels
- Background in Dry Cargo operations is essential
- Valid STCW certifications and up-to-date safety training
- Previous experience in solo or single-manning roles considered an advantage
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to operate independently
- Good knowledge of international maritime regulations and safety standards
- Ability to work in a dynamic and global environment
- Flexibility to undertake worldwide assignments and variable schedules
