Uniteam Marine is seeking a skilled 2ND OFFICER to join our client's fleet operating on a worldwide basis. This vital role involves assisting the deck department in navigation, safety, and operational duties aboard a modern container vessel with a capacity of approximately 9000 TEU. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing bridge watchkeeping duties, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, and supporting cargo operations on a Post Panamax vessel. The role demands a proactive approach, excellent teamwork, and adherence to international maritime standards to maintain the vessel’s efficiency and safety across global routes.
- Previous experience as a Second Officer on container vessels, particularly with a background in Post Panamax ships
- Valid STCW certifications Good understanding of safety procedures and navigational regulations
